Cult/Star player for IF Troja-Ljungby

Back från Troja, Ljungby i Småland. Gjorde en kortare utflykt till Vättersnäs IF men återvände till Troja redan inför säsongen 1959/60 där han kom att vara lagets bästa spelare.

Redan säsongen därpå värvade Västra Frölunda IF:s hockeybas "Bittan" Johansson ner den då 27-åriga Troja- backen till Göteborg där han under säsongen 1961/62 fick göra allsvensk debut.
